3.Winter boots

You can’t go wrong with a good pair of Winter boots. We all need a good pair of boots to wear this season, whether we’re going into the office, to a party, or meeting a friend for coffee – it is a wonderfully versatile and practical gift. You can choose to make it more personal depending on how well you know the giftee. A heeled leather boot is a general crowd pleaser. You can choose your price range, pick a simple neutral colour, like black/dark brown. But if you know a little more on what they would like, you could opt for a chunky Doc Marten boot, a bolder colour or a loud print. Pricing ranges from €50/£40-€140/£125.

4. Jeans

I can tell with a certainty, every single women struggles to find a pair of jeans that fits them right, the trick is usually to buy a good pair, like Levi’s – but they are an investment. If you know your loved ones measurements, or simply don’t want to just hand them a gift card, buy them a simple classic pair of dark wash straight leg jeans. Tailor your choice to fit their needs even if you don’t know their measurements; tall, petite, curve (not necessarily being plus size, but if she has more hips and bum) etc. Levi jeans are typically between €85/£70-€130/£110. Regardless of if they are a fashion lover or not this is a gift that will definitely be greatly appreciated.

5. Fashion Photography

Fashion girls are often the creative type, so will like appreciate photography in general but specifically fashion photography, you can keep it simple for someone you don’t know as well by just buying a couple of fashion posters, relatively inexpensive – ranging from €2.50/£3-€25/£30; or to do that little extra put the posters into some nice frames, a classic black frame is a great option, but if you know that they like a bit of colour pick a nice high contrasting frame to go with your chosen poster. You can buy your frames and posters on Etsy, Ebay or even Facebook Marketplace.

6. Annual VOGUE Magazine Subscription

If your fashion loving friend does not already have a fashion magazine subscription, this is such simple buying process and a gift that keeps on giving – each month when they get their magazine (hardcopy or digital) they will think of you. VOGUE magazine annual subscription is only $36 (currently on offer for only $10!) for the digital subscription. Personally, I would recommend the digital and printed subscription, especially if they like to collect fashion magazines.

7. Handbag

This is a very versatile gift, you could get a nice real leather handbag for just €30/£26-€50/£44 or spend upwards of €300/£265. Again like picking jeans, keep it simple and classic, a good structured bag in a neutral colour like black, navy, brown or camel if you’re not sure exactly what they would like. But if you do, try a slouchy shoulder bag, or a bolder colour. A great place to shop for handbags is TK Maxx, as they have a great range in colour, style and price.

8.Gift Voucher

We can’t forget the classic gift voucher, though less personal, it is genuinely appreciated! It is even better sometimes to get this for someone who is picky or hard to buy for, letting them go in and shop (which is half the fun) is a gift in itself. Make it slightly more personal by choosing a voucher for their favourite place to buy clothes. Some suggestions are H&M, Zara, Next, M&S, New Look etc. Another great voucher to receive is for make-Up, you could go more general like a Boots voucher, but if you want to impress and look like you’re in the know with these things, a Milk Make-Up, Rare Beauty, Fenty Beauty or Glossier voucher is the way to go – these brands are high quality and trending all over social media right now.

9. Book of Fashion History

For the more literarily inclined ones and absolutely fashion obsessed I would highly suggest a book all about fashion, it a unique gift to give. You could go into any book shop and simply ask for recommendations, but some with great reviews are: ‘Fashion: The Definitive History of Costume and Style’, ‘20,000 Years of Fashion: The History of Costume and Personal Adornment’, ‘Timeless: A Fashion Anthology’. Prices range from €30/£26-€50/£44 and can be found in most book shops.

10. Sewing Lessons

Now this might not be for everyone, but people with fashion interests vary; some prefer to read about it, others to look at it and yet some love to create and design. If your loved one is the latter but yet to explore it, gifting sewing lessons gives them the tools to help them design and create their very own pieces. Sewing lessons is just a start, but of course you could also look into the accessories that come with fashion designing, like a bust, sewing machine, sketch pads/pencils, fabric etc.
